Annette Messager
Born in France in 1943, Annete Messager attended the Ecole des Arts Decoratifs in Paris, and is known for her installation work that incorporates prints, drawings, photographs and found material. Messager's work is held in the collection of the Museum of Modern Art. Her first major American retrospective in 1995 was co-organized by the Museum of Modern Art and the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. She has had solo exhibitions at the Museo de Arte Moderno in Buenos Aires and the Musée d'Art Moderne de la Ville de Paris.
