Brian Dettmer
Contemporary American artist, Brian Dettmer, was born in 1974 in Naperville, Illinois. He received his BA in fine arts from Columbia College Chicago and his works are concerned with found objects such as books, maps, and albums. His work has been shown and published widely, including Kinz + Tillou Fine Art, Packer Schopf Gallery, Toomey Tourell, MiTO Gallery in Barcelona, and SALTWORKS. He currently lives and works in Atlanta. His work can currently be seen at the Toomey Tourell Fine Art Gallery in San Francisco.
