David Hamilton

David Hamilton is a British photographer and film director. Born in London in 1933, Hamilton moved to Paris at age 20 where he worked as a graphic designer for Peter Knapp of Elle magazine. By the end of the 1960's Hamilton's work had a recognizable, soft-focus style. He has published dozens of photographic books, feature films, countless magazine publications, and museum and gallery exhibitions. Since 2005 Hamilton has been enjoying a revival in popularity with two new book releases.
