Jonathan Cowan
Jonathan Cowan was born on September 24, 1982 in Temple, Texas. He attended San Antonio College from 2000-03 before transferring to The University of Texas at San Antonio, where he received a BFA in Drawing in 2006. His mixed media drawings and paintings are atmospheric, with pops of color, frequently embellished with thread that emerges from hazy backgrounds. He currently lives and works in New York City.
