Kansuke Yamamoto

Kansuke Yamamoto was an influential Japanese photographer and poet, born in Nagoya, Japan in 1914.  He attended both the Nagoya Second Commercial School and Meiji University.  It is cited that Yamamoto may have encountered surrealism and dadaism through the magazine "chine".  Yamamato's work has been exhibited all throughout Japan and the rest of the world., including Konica Gallery in Tokyo and the Museum of Modern Art in New York.  He passed away in 1987.
