Ralph Gibson
Ralph Gibson, born in 1939, is an American photographer. His work often builds narrative meaning through contextualizion and surreal juxtaposition while incorporating erotic and mysterious undertones. Gibson's work is included in many international collections. Gibson has received much recognition throughout his career including several fellowships from the National Endowment for the Arts and and two honorary doctorate of Fine Arts degrees. Gibson currently lives in New York.
