The Floaters

The Floaters was formed in 1976 with singers James Mitchell, Paul Mitchell, Larry Cunningham, Charles Clark, and Ralph Mitchell. Many of the band members grew up in the same housing project on Detroit’s Eastside. Their one major hit was “Float On” and the group remained active for several years.
